In the heart of Charlotte, this wedding was full of beautiful details and lots of love. Cortney and Asher’s stunning day at Grand Bohemian Hotel Charlotte was certainly one to remember! If you’re a city gal that loves an urban vibe, stay tuned… let’s get into it!

GRAND BOHEMIAN HOTEL CHARLOTTE:

From Orlando to Charlotte and all places in between, there are many incredible locations of Grand Bohemian Hotels and buildings from The Kessler Collection. All are designed so beautifully and in cities full of things to do!

At the Grand Bohemian Hotel Charlotte, there were plenty of spots fitting for a wedding day. Bridal parties can get ready in hotel rooms of all sizes and each place is truly picture-perfect. This hotel is a truly great place for any city-style wedding as everything was lux and high-end.

Cortney and Asher had their reception on the deck, but we also utilized the garden on the ground floor and the beautiful exterior of the building for all sorts of photos! Each place gave off incredible city views of the skyline and created such a unique, classy style for the day.

From the gold revolving doors out front to the elevators, not a detail was overlooked in this space and it is the perfect venue to wow your guests!

GETTING READY:

Cortney’s look for her special day was nothing short of all things beautiful and glamorous! Her dress, found at The Savvy Bride Boutique, was full of layers and gorgeous lace detail. While getting ready, the bridal party wore matching pajamas which was the perfect vibe for the hotel room glam session! After some group photos, Cortney got ready alongside her bridesmaids and mom and looked absolutely STUNNING.

THE FIRST LOOK WITH CORTNEY’S DAD:

While Cortney and Asher didn’t have a first look on their wedding day, Cortney actually had one with her dad… which was THE most precious moment. These two are the epitome of a sweet, sweet father and daughter relationship and it was a teary-eyed moment to see them together. From the first look photos to the toast her dad gave later in the evening, you could just tell how much they loved each other!

THE CEREMONY:

On the deck of the hotel, the ceremony was held under a tent in front of a beautiful rose mural. This was such a perfect place for a wedding as you could see the whole city of Charlotte off to the side! With the flowers down the aisle and throughout the room, the whole space was incredible.

Since Cortney and Asher didn’t have a first look, they saw each other at the ceremony for the first time and let me just say… I don’t think there was a dry eye in the room! Asher was in tears, groomsmen were in tears, everyone was tearing up. Even though most of the wedding guests actually came in from out of town, the emotion in the room made it SO apparent how much everyone loves this couple together. It was the sweetest!

CORTNEY + ASHER:

This couple… I couldn’t get enough of them because they were so stinking adorable! Cortney and Asher have been together for years and you could tell just how MUCH they loved each other. Not only was everyone so excited to see them married, but it was obvious they were already a huge part of each other’s families.

After the ceremony we took some photos of the newlyweds around the hotel and down by the street. With the city views and incredible flowers, these were some of my favorite shots from the whole day! They danced in front of the hotel, laughed a lot, and Asher even carried Cortney’s heels by the end of it… that’s love!

THE BRIDAL PARTY:

This bridal party was a blast. We took tons of photos out in the garden area, outside the hotel, and some down on the sidewalks! Every area had a fun, urban vibe and again… perfect for a city bride! The bridesmaids all wore dark navy and floral dresses which was such a unique and stunning combination for the day.

THE RECEPTION + SENDOFF:

After Cortney and Asher said “I do,” it was time to party and this group did it right! The design from top to bottom of their reception was immaculate and the uplighting in the room was perfect.

From first dances to toasts from parents and the bridal party, everyone laughed a ton and cried some more before PARTYING after! There was so much energy at this reception for a Sunday night and it was such a fun group.

For Cortney and Asher’s sendoff, they went with a bubble sendoff which is a great option for any indoor space! The guests used both bubble guns and wands to create a dreamy sendoff for the newest couple and it couldn’t have been any more perfect.
