This micro-wedding at the Ritz Carlton Amelia Island was a dream!

Kristen and Ryan are just one of my sweet couples who’s wedding day was impacted by COVID-19. Their large wedding was cancelled, and they decided to swap it out for a the Ritz Carlton Amelia Island Wedding with both of their immediate families.

They both handled the situation with so much grace, and their wedding day was absolutely beautiful. Ryan’s grandfather lead the ceremony (scroll down to watch a slideshow featuring a snippet of their ceremony) The event team at the Ritz Carlton in Amelia Island FL were great and helped the day to run smoothly.

We took pre-wedding photos in a gorgeous hallway full of windows, and then during golden hour headed out to the beach for their ceremony. From there we took family photos, and then captured bridal portraits with Kristen and Ryan at sunset. Their joy & excitement was contagious, and their family was so welcoming and kind to me, I enjoyed getting to know everyone that day.
